Fall Soccer Season Begins September 6, 2008

mail your registration form to the above address or you may register in
person at:
Stephenville Sports World beginning Monday July 21st through Friday
August 13th.
(if registering at Sports World please pay with check or
money order)
Fees are: $45.00 for U5, U6, U7, U8, and $55.00 for U9, U10, and $65.00
for U11 and up.
The $15.00 increase in fees for U11 and up is to cover the
cost of uniforms which players will now keep.
The $10.00 increase in U9 and U10 fees is to cover the cost of the jersey
top which the players will now keep.
To play in the Fall
season players must be 4 years old before August 1, 2008.
A copy of the players certified birth certificate must be on file with
the SSA for any player to participate. Please enclose a copy with
your registration form and fees if necessary. If registering at Sports
World please make sure you bring a copy of your birth certificate. Sports
World does not have a copier. Make all checks payable to Stephenville
Soccer Association, or SSA.
Registration ends August
13, 2008.
Late registration will only be granted if positions are available on teams
formed and are subject to a $10.00 late fee. No players will be added to
a team after the second game of the season.
We need
volunteers to keep the SSA and soccer going for our children and youth.
Please try your skills at coaching, preparing fields for games, helping
with fund-raisers, or serving on the executive board. We want and
need you!!!
The Candy Sale Fund
Raiser was omitted in the Spring 08 season so we will be selling candy
to raise money this FALL.
All soccer players are expected to sell at least one$100 box of candy
(only one box per family is required). Anyone who would like to
opt out of selling candy can pay $50 per family to benefit the
fund-raiser, and this can be included with your registration form and
soccer fee.
Any player from the Spring Season who has not turned in candy
money will not be allowed to play in the Fall Season until candy money
is turned in. Please pay when registering.
The Stephenville Soccer
Association believes that every player deserves the chance to be on a
successful team coached by a dedicated individual. It is with this in
mind that the following registration guidelines based on the By-Laws of
SSA have been established.
1. All players not
moving up a division will return to their team from Spring 2007. A player
not desiring to return to their former team needs to request to be placed
in the player pool.
2. No player may
request to be placed on any specific team, or to play for any specific
head coach.
3. All players moving
up a division will be placed in the player pool.
4. Absolutely no
requests for carpooling will be honored unless player(s) live out of
town. Players requesting to carpool will be placed in the player pool
together. Those making carpooling request for out of town players must
submit a written request, on a separate piece of paper, to the registrar
for Board consideration. Requests written on the registration form
will not be considered.
